Hi,

After months of visiting this forum, I thought I'd finally sign up. There seems to be tons of experienced fish keepers here, so I'm looking forward to getting some good advice

I'm currently thinking of changing my set up to accommodate a group of geophagus, so if you have any advice on these fish, feel free to send it my way.

Geophagus, South American Cichlids, nice, there are quite a few fans of cichlids on this forum and am sure you'll get some good advice on starting set ups for these.

Glad you joined! Just keep your substrate soft with some fine sand or rounded pebbles as they have a habit or gobbling substrate up to feed every now and then. Nothing bad really other than that they are nice and can even be hand-fed
