I am so excited, tomorrow I am going to finally get my planted tank set up like I want...well at least for a week or two.  I have acquired new plants, new drift wood, and slate.  Tomorrow is my bday and my mom and I are going to start the scape!

The thing I am most excited about is the light fixture I got yesterday!  I got a Trinity 48 inch, T5 setup for $150.  They go for $350+ online.  I did have to change out two of the Antic bulbs as it is a fresh planted and not a reef tank.   But it looks great!

Here is a pic of that it looks like now, tomorrow it will look like chocolate milk!!

Here is a question for ya, can I break apart a moss ball and use it on wood if I tie it down?

can't wait to make my tanks heavily planted.

Oh the answer to your question is yes you can break apart moss ball and use on wood, but make sure you do not tie hard . I did break apart my own moss balls and they seems doing fine.

Also would love to see your tank when you get new plants , if you don't mind
