hi im new to this forum(and fish keeping) and i need some help
i av a 20 gallon tank with 9 neons, 6 black neons a bristle plec thinking about adding some more fish... is this okay?

yeah you could def add a bit more fish if there only neons and what not, you did cycle your tank didn't you???

Welcome to TFF. Yes you could add more fish but again is your tank cycled?

agreed. If the "cycle" question doesn't make sense, you'll want to move over to the "New to the Hobby" forum and start looking at other newcomer threads and at the pinned articles at the top of that forum.

i think it is but now i av 4 guppies 3 zebra danios and 1 red tail black shark plus the 9 neons etc etc still alright for space?

now i get the cycle thing and i did

i would replace the red tail shark they need more space than u have and can become very terratorial and may even bully ur other fish 2 death and also i would say u maybe slightly overstocked but... if u have sufficent filtering u should be just about ok with wot u have but i would stick to it and not get any others till maybe upgrading ur tank

have u got a water test kit just so u know wot ur water parameters are it's no good buying fish if the conditions arnt rite because i big chance they will die

i will think about da RTBS as his small at the mo and yeah my filter is powerful thanks for da info

Keep your filter clean and add lots of carbon and you should be cool with a couple more little lads.
