hi i need help sexing my 2 german blue rams

:( hi i need help sexing my 2 german blue rams i really doent no whats the dorsal fin i think i have 1 female but she always look depresed and i dont no wats the other 1 becus it has lots of colors and only a few blue speck in the black spot but on the other side of its body the spot is comptley coverd in blue specks and i need alot of help becus i only had them for 2 months and i cant tell them apart please help! :no: :flex: :unsure: ill try 2 get some pics in but if u canhelp me pm me here or email me at locaboriqua12@msn.com
 
Forget the black dot method. The dorsal fin is the fin on their back (that's the top of their body). Wanna know the sex? Look at the tummy. If one has a pink tummy, she's a female. If not, it's almost certainly a male. Rarely does a female have zero amount of pink there.

I have, and have seen many blue ram females with no pink belly normally after breeding or at the dealers are the main times with no pink (also this is no help with gold rams) I judge by the rounded dorsal fin female/squared male aproach first then if I have doubts the pink belly. The link does provide excellent examples of the top/dorsal fin sexing method

unfortuntly the depreesed 1 has no color wats so ever!
