I have, and have seen many blue ram females with no pink belly normally after breeding or at the dealers are the main times with no pink (also this is no help with gold rams) I judge by the rounded dorsal fin female/squared male aproach first then if I have doubts the pink belly. The link does provide excellent examples of the top/dorsal fin sexing methodpseud said:Forget the black dot method. The dorsal fin is the fin on their back (that's the top of their body). Wanna know the sex? Look at the tummy. If one has a pink tummy, she's a female. If not, it's almost certainly a male. Rarely does a female have zero amount of pink there.
