I have a 100 litre planted aquarium thats been running for about a year now with no problems other than fish poping it but they have allways been guppies.

now i have two small 3cm plecs, 10 tiger barbs and two dwarf gourami in my tank all of these fish get along fine but what else can i keep with the tiger barbs as im a bit foggy on conflicting species.

any help is much appreciated.

I had a similar setup when I started. I found that plecos are not good for planted tanks when they get larger. You may want to consider a smaller(adult) or less disruptive cleaning crew. I use ottos, flying fox, zebra snails, and algae shrimp( C. japonica, i think).

I think when all those fish are full grown you would have enough for this tank. I calculate about 70 inches of full grown fish for a 25 gallon? Changing out the plecos would reduce this quite a bit.

ok thanks for that ill have to shift my plecs to my other tank and consider one of the alternatives you sugested. :p
But i have a large area in my tank where there is a large pice of bogwood where the plecs like to hang out on.
