Hi Gang,

My first tank went up on Sunday, but will be doing some major upgrading in the next few months....

how big is your tank?
And i believe you cant keep goldfish in a heated tank. Correct me if im wrong.

You have quite a mix there. Do you have any photos? Would love to see them.

I will post photos tomorrow night for you. I actually have 1 small goldfish and then big momma (as we call her). The other one is quite small, like 2" or so long.

goldies can be in a heated tank. the angels need to be in groups of 2-4 only. and most crabs are brakish and none of the fish listed are brackest so that wont work. and the goldfish mixed in with all those comm fish wont work. and finaly the angels are cichlids so most likly it will attk most of the other fish. angels + neons = DEATH anything that can fit halfway into a fully grown angels mouth about 1/2 -1" will die. sharks need a min of 90g ea and need groups of atleast 4-6. guppie babys + all those other fish u listed also = DEATH.
o and about that crab thing they need to be able to come up for air regulary.

Edit: the molly need lightly brakish water also so they wont work with the other fish.

Goldfish are predominantly coldwater fish, crabs can and most likely will kill other fish that its claws can get, Red tailed black sharks can be aggressive. Some angelfish may not eat neon tetra's however chances are it will when big enough. Is the tank cycled because if it isn't you will most likely suffer fish deaths (most likely the neons and the goldfish) the size of the tank here is also crucial...(please realise there is no tone with my message or judgement and I am asking questions just so you know)

No I doubt it would be that big fishdawg but it would have to be a largish tank 125 gallon doesn't seem right

well the shark needs a big tank
the angel needs a big tank
he needs atleast 4 sharks and atleast 4 angels
so it needs to be big
and the goldies need atleast 30g

125 Gallons for 4 red tailed black sharks a angelfish and 2 goldfish... Angels don't need to be in groups in my experience... Im not trying to be aggressive just stating that 125 gallons is excessive IMO

Wow, lots of info there. So it sounds like what you guys are saying is mostof my fish are gonna die? The tank has been exstablished for quite some time (by my neighbor) The red tail shark is only like 2" long and the angel is about 1 1/2" long. The crab yes, he got out and we cannot find him.

As for size, that seems way off to me, but I am a newbie, so what do I know. Seems like I still need to add fish, it looks so bare. :D I really lik the guppies and Tetras so those are the fish I am going to focus on for now. Thansk for the tip guys, will post photos tomorrow I promise. And my Guppies just had fry so there are more in the tank now.

And the goldfish will be removed whn I start my tank revamping.

What does brakish mean?

We had this guy in a 5 gallon tank for about 2 months and he never came up for air, as there was no way he could in that tank. (It was just a goldfish tank)

Edit: the molly need lightly brakish water also so they wont work with the other fish.

And again what is Brakish mean

Thanks
