Hi all, I have kept fish for over 20 years, but sadly don't have any tanks at the moment. I soon hope to rectify this, as I have my eye on this jewel 400 litre tank, but I am £100 short. Maybe next month. I really have quite a wide knowledge on fish, but I am not a know it all. LOL.

I presume you know about fishless cycling with liquid amonia?

I think I may have replied in a thread of your's already, asking about the quality of Juwel tanks If not, and you are looking to reserch that tank before buying, take a look in the hardware sub-section, for a thread evaluating their tanks

hello and welcome, word to the wise on juwel tanks, while they're pretty the equipment you get with them is a bit below par (not terrible but not great either) so you may find one day you want to upgrade it. If you bear that in mind it often works out better value to get a plain glass tank and built up the equipment yourself rather than getting an all in one. Can always pick up some deals on ebay as well
