Hi...and happy new year!
This is the first forum I have ever joined..about time since I have been keeping fish for about 18 months now
Have a lot of fish....angels, livebearers, catfish, gouramis, goldfish & some cichlids.....no not all in the same tank! Have about 35 tanks.
My favourites are Orandas (they are what I call my pets!), veiltail angels, sterbai corys, bristlenose catfish and blue acaras.
Have enjoyed reading some of the posts so far...it is good to see there are other fish fanatics out there...also hoping to get some good useful information from other people's experiences

blue acaras (about 25)
convicts (about 50)
opaline gouramis (5)
gold gouramis (6)
paradise fish (about 200)
guppies (millions!)
saifin mollies (about 50)
red swordtails (about 40)
blue swordtails (12)
tiger platies (4)
coral blue platies (about 30)
bristlenose catfish (about 500)

...I am a bit of a sucker for watching the cute little babies grow up so keep getting more tanks!!!....then I trade them for food when they are big enough for the pet shops to take them.
Its the 'brissies' I'm into mainly with the breeding.

You are obviously a very experienced fishkeeper Brissiegirl I'm envious of your collection, although I don't think I could maintain 35 tanks!

yes maintaining 35 tanks is a full time job! gotta be dedicated eh?

actually I am not very experienced...still learning
only had the bulk of these fish for a few months now

got one fighter 18 months ago...and only kept 4 tanks til recently
having this amount now is a bit of a shock to the system ...but I can't stop...love them fishies!!!

(not sure if I should be 'chatting' here...but how do I reply to this in the general talk forum??? still finding my way around here)
