Hi to everyone here. About me... After a few years of having a tank of just loaches, clowns and orange-fins mostly. I decided to restart with a new tank. (Friends have taken the loaches off my hands.) Anyway, I just started a 30 gallon community with 6 mollys, 1 bristlenose, and 5 mystery tetras. Everything is going great. Even though they're tiny compared to what I have had; they are way more fun to watch. I'll soon add a few cardinal or neon tetras and 3-4 glass cats.

Hi Wendy and :hi: to the forum

Sounds like you have some experience already, so I won't point you in the direction of the beginners thread - although feel free to go there anyways!
:D

I will say welcome to the world of community tanks though. I enjoy them so much more than anything else as I like watching the different species interact. Especially my remaining pygmy corys who've taken to shoaling with the neons!

See you around,
Ami

Hi Wendy, welcome.

What part of Houston you at? I lived in Clear Lake for a while before we moved back to England.

Corys and neons sound like a great combo, Ami. My clown loaches are in a friend's tank and like to school with his silver dollars. We think they like looking at their reflections off of them.

Suzie, I'm near Clear Lake! Used to do contract work at Johnson Space Center NASA 'til I was layed-off. I live a couple minutes down from I45-exit El Dorado.

:( I do miss TX, say hello to Randalls for me, I miss doing my shopping there, it's been 7 years and I still have my loyalty card in my purse, having trouble letting go, lol

I replied to your other thread just now. I was only able to keep clowns for about a year and my biggest was 5". I had botia modestas for about 8 years though; they're very terratorial.
