Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie to this forum but have actually been keeping marine & freshwater fish for around 25 years now. This site caught my eye for planted aquarium advice which is a new project I've got planned for the next few months and have had very little success with in the past.

That said, if you can offer any advice on keeping a successful planted aquarium I have posted a couple of questions in the plant section.

Hello Ian and welcome to the forum.

I am still trying to learn all the nuances of planted tanks and have just started studying the pinned topic in the Planted section on the Estimative Index. It sounds like the way to go. I've just got to find the right CO2 system and the money to get it with. You might want to check it out too.

I am one of those who sticks the plant in and crosses my fingers as all that technical stuff makes my head spin
