Hi, my name is Dan and i am new to the forum.  i recently inherited a 55 gallon fish tank that belonged to my father.  it had one lonely pleco in it so i added a few fish.  i now have 2 gourami  (one opaline male and one blue f email) one red taled black shark a school of rosy and red glass barbs (three of each) and the common pleco that was in the tank (i know he will eventually outgrow the tank at wich point i will donate him through petcos fish adoption program).  i recently added some live plants as well and am looking forward to learning more about taking care of my aquarium.  i used this sight as a resource stting the tank up and am now happy to have become a member.
