Hi

I'm new to all this, I've just set up my first fish tank, I'm doing coldwater at the moment, but would eventually like to have a full blown marine reef tank.

I'm starting with coldwater to learn the basic, of which I'm learning many, mainly patience and water quality. lol.

I had a typical case of new tank syndrome and ended up loosing 2 of the 3 fish I bought and now only have 1 sad lonely pearlscale left.

Who is also looking a bit dubious.

Cheers.

Hi everyone

Thanks for the replys and the warm welcome.

My remaining pearlscale is hanging in there, seems to have developed swimbladder I think, I've been feeding it peas, but it's still swimming funny.

Desperately trying to get the amonia levels down, so doing loads of water changes.

Any other advice greatly appreciated.

All I can tell you at the moment emmaliz11 is be patient, don't get any fish until your water is right, it's not worth the hassle or the disappointment, when the fish start dropping off.

Cheers bilbailey :fish:
