Been lurking on forum for a few weeks now and thought it time to say hi!
Know some basics as my Dad had a tank as I grew up.
Got started with a tank 12 months back thanks to the other half and a seemingly spur of the moment decision. She thought it would be good for the kids and didn't want to spend much. A visit to Pets at Home ( don't say anything!) and we had a small tank of about 25 litres. Worst moment was coming home to a new fish. P@H advised it was good for algae. I was worried and have recently been told it's a Sailfin Plec. Oh well.
A month back we upgraded. It's about 80 litres and 60cm.
I'm getting this one planted out a bit which is great. Amazon Sword, some Vallis, Java Fern and Crypts so far.
Stock wise: Sailfin Plec, 5 Rummy Nose, 6 Cardinal Tetra, 2 Mollys, 6 Corydoras Sterbai. A little over stocked? The Plec is about 4"-5" at present.
Looking forward to learning more and hopefully expanding further!
