Hi all,

Todd here, from Indiana.

Just wanted to introduce myself and tell you about my set up.

I got a 29 gallon freshwater aquarium with 2 betta and 3 albino cory cats. The tank was already cycled when I picked it up so I just had to transport to my house, get the water up to temp, etc.. The fish were kept in a 2 gallon transport tank and once I had everything fired up it was roughly 4 hours before I put the fish back in their home. The tank was free, along with all my supplies as well. Couldn't have gotten a better deal. I just did my first water change (I've had the tank a week) and that went ok, a little messy but successful.

Just wanted to drop by and say hello! :good:

Hi TC1976 :)

Welcome to the forum! :hi: You can't beat a deal like that.

Hi Assaye,

1 male and 1 female. I gave the male away after a week and kept the female with the Cory cats. I plan on adding a couple mollies this weekend.

Welcome to the forum TC.
I would hold off on adding any more fish for a while. You are in what we would call a fish-in cycle and not very far along yet. The more fish you have in your tank, the bigger and more often the needed water changes will be. Please read the thread that I link to in my signature area that explains a fish-in cycle. It happens so often with new fish keepers that I carry that link around with me. If you have any questions after reading it, who wouldn't, please come back and ask. We will try to walk you through the cycle. BTW if you see a post by Waterdrop on the subject of your cycling, he is one of our best experts here on that particular subject.
