Hi all!

i have previously had a few tanks running, including a Marine tank, but i had to decommision all of them when i went to Uni. About 6years on i'm now in a posittion to start a couple up! yay

I'm still researching all new products etc and decidng what i will stock. I'm thinking of doing 2 Amazonian tanks (Tropiquarium88 & Rio 240) with angelfish, because i've never kept these before and i like the idea of trying to find a breeding pair. Does anyone here breed/sell these?

You may have seen i have quite a few threads on 'new fishtank forum' asking for advice and i've already received some good help! the problem is i'm trying to remember all of what i knew before and working out which new products are best

hehe, i would love to, but unfortunately i'm living at my parents at the moment, and if i leave sometime in the next couple of years, they wouldnt be able to look after them. ...when i get my own place though!...

hi skins,

i bought online my eheim biolife internal filter, light bulbs, heater and food. so i'm almost there!

hopefully it should turn up this week, but first i have t make a stand in my bedroom. i have the tropiquarium stand, but where it's best in my room theres a bit of a ledge out of the skirting board, so i need to recruit my dad to help me build a frame around it...shouldnt take long , i hope!

apart from that i just need to rewire the bulbs to a timer, because the timer in the hood is broken i think.

which fish do you suggest i stock? im still not sure whether to go down the angelfish route or not.

i saw someone had a photo on here of a cockatoo cichilid? would they work with angelfish or others?

my filter, light bulbs and airpump turned up today! the eheim, is smaller than i thought when its held in my tank, which is a good thing!

just got to build my stand this weekend and i can almost start cycling!
