Hi already posted once saying I was new. Now I have a question, I can't post any other place on the board. Just wondering it this is something of a waiting period first? My concern is that I have a bit of a problem with my Tiger Barbs and I saw a thread by someone who is having the same issues. I wanted to reply or message this person and tyr to help them/myself, but it wouldnt let me post in the section or send an email or pm to the person.

His problem is with a coulpe of his smaller barbs being almost motionless and just sitting nose pointing down. Trying to eat but only spitting the food back out. He was told to treat with permafix and I guess hes been doing it for a few days with not to much help. I have a tiger that just died acting the same way and another one currently doing the same thing. I also just began treating it with primafix. :(

If anyone has any answers to both of my questions that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :)

oops sorry just saw the pinned post regarding "cant post" :fun:

Yeah, well you can't post because you are not a member yet, you must be a member, yours is still validation as for the tiger barbas, I can't help.

i have barbs.they sleep and rest with their heads down like that. as far as them spitting the food out, i have only seen that when they have tried to swallow too big of a piece of food. i have tried pimafix and melafix, but with not much results. although they both work great with goldfish. i use a little of aquarium salt in both my tanks. seems to work for me.
