Hey I Need Some Advice.

Ok, There's a guy in another town that's interested in my big tank. I'd like to sell my giant tank and put my cichlids in a 75 gallon. Well in the same town there's a guy that's selling a 75 gallon. So would my fish be ok if put them in a 29 gallon and 55 gallon temporarily for a few days until I get down to pick up the 75 and take the 125 to sell it to the other guy? I have 2 separate running filters on my 125 that I could put 1 on each tank so it shouldn't cycle. It's 2 and half hours away.

Do I make sense? It kinda sounds like jumble to me All my fish are still juvies and I only have 18 or 19 that I'd have to divide btwn the tanks. I just would like advice from others on this idea.

That should work fine. When I redid my 75 the last time, I kept all the fish in a 10gal for a couple of days. I'd just make sure it's a bare tank, that way no one can claim territories.

Great! I feel better about it now!! Thank you!! I'll eventually need to thin out my stock as well. All those fish are only 2 breeds except the lone crabro. Just get rid of a few ladies/extra males to make room for new additions
