Hey everyone! I've just gotten into aquariums and I came across this forum while I was doing research on an aquarium that I am planning to buy in June. It's nice to meet everyone and hopefully I will have a great tank and the fish will be happy!

what sort of tank are you planning on?
if you need any help this forum is great has helped me star fish keeping just wish i found it before i bought a tank and fish.

I planned on getting the Fluval Edge but I posted and looked around in the forums and many people said that the Fluval Edge (6gallon) tank would be too small for several fancy goldfish. So now, I looked online at petco and found a 30gallon tank for a couple dollars more. I also looked on craigslist and found a 55gallon tank for less price than both of the other tanks but I'm not sure if that fish tank will still be around till June...

Good you've done your research and that you are getting the biggest tank you can afford/accommodate.
If you do get a massive tank, I would strongly recommend you check out tropical species. There is a lot more variety with tropical fish

Maybe I'll look into the tropical fish after I've gotten the hang of having fish again in general... ​
