Hi,
I actually found this forum by searching information on Killifish. I am new to captive Killi.
I think I saw there is "a list" for introduction.??? I do not know where to find that format but will give you a brief on me.

My parents had aquariums,(which in our social circle) was unusual in the 1950's. Or maye I was just was to young to know others that had one and for SURE none in school classrooms. My grandmother had a "fish bowl" A BIG DUDE and a means of oxygen was to walk by a few time a day and "swirl the water" LOL. We have come along way. My dad was SO proud of his "fancy guppies". So this is how I started.
Needless to say for over 40 years I have had my own freshwater aquariums (without Daddy's help LOL). I still have concord little and always looking to learn. My children were raised with an aquariums & as adults all have 1 or more, and all my classrooms had a tank.

 Welcome! I am new as well! I love our new aquarium and my two year old likes to point and name all the different fish. She knows my tank is aggressive and her dad's tank is community. It is a fun addition to our living room!

Thanks for the nice welcome! I know the forum will be very enlighting and it is always nice to talk tanks to folks that understand the crazy need to work hard on a hobby.(like folks that do not think you are wacky 'cause you take vacations at home to work on your tanks and such LOL).

I have had many tanks through the years but cut back a few years ago. I now have:

55 gal comunity tank (though my severm was probaly my all time favorite).

10 gallon drawf puffer tank

that cool new Chi tank by fluval with glow fish (now talk about a tank that is a challenge...gshh. I luv it BUT..)

My beloved betta (we used to breed betta).

a large out door koi pond

and several marine tanks from 130 gal down, including my seahorses and my seahorse breeding tanks.

The true love of the hobby started with freshwater and i know i will always keep the fw tank.

See 'round on the forums!
