I like your new tank idea and the other thread about your reef tank start to finish. I would be very interested to know how much your new tank will cost and where you are asking for quotes since im looking to have one made for myself too.
I would guess looking at the angles of yours, its gonna cost a bomb. Also on your main tank a the moment where is the sump hole located ? and did you drill the hole yourself or have it done for you? If you can drill the hole yourself what do you use to do it since it is glass?

This is an easy one matt. Build the big tank and put the seahorses in a refugium in the sump

Tropicaltone> got the cheapest quote i have to date is £360 ($668)

In the main tank the sump overflow is in the top right, had the hole drilled for me £15 ($27) if you do it your self you can buy a diamond til drill bit off the net.

Ski> The talks with Seinor Managment failed so keeping what I have for now. Maybe in the new year!

back wall is too long its 5 foot but i need it to be 41"

However Managment did say i could by the e-bay on if it fitted on the other side of the chimeny but the the tank is the wrong way round!!

Whoa whoa, you dont have a bottom brace on that tank ?

what do you meen a bottom brace?

I mean there's no molded plastic around the lower silicone seals? Must be some really thick silicone on your bottom joints with no supplimental strength

Oh I see, nun of my tanks have them! should they? Or is it an american thing?

Weird, must be an american thing. All mine have it. If you build a tank a certain way the bottom brace is not required.
