i hope it is aquatic and even if it isnt im going to leave it in there untill i see signs of rot.
thanks for your help

i decided to do my solution again as too much carbon dioxide was coming out. (again). so i added a lot less yeast added about a cup full of sugar then filled with water abot 3/4. now you can see slightly through the solution. does this matter wil the solution still produce carbon dioxide. thanks

I hate to burst your bubble, but the reddish plants are also non-aquatic. I don't have my books with me, as I on break at work, but my neighbor has it growing in his front yard, so I'm pretty sure. The greenish plant looks a bit like cherry hedge to me, which is definitely non-aquatic. 'Fraid your only aquatic is the Egeria densa and you can tell. Look how floppy it is. It's not the only way to tell, but usually it works, if the plant flops over when out of the water, it's a good sign it's a true aquatic.

I would not leave it in until you see signs of rot. Many signs can occur just below the gravel line, leading to water polution. I'd take them out, plant them in some dirt and get some nice houseplants for a bright windowsill.

Your wasting sugar and yeast!!!!!. The mixture is good enough. how do you even know if there is too much co2 if you dont have a drop checker or anything?. and your ways of diffusion won't diffuse good enough to get enough co2 into the water. First record your bubble count.Deattach the airstone. leave the tube underwater for like 5 mins or 10 and record.DO NOT record as soon as you take off the airstone.
As pressure builds in the airstone, obvious there will be alot of bubbles

IF your fishes are Gasping then you know you have to much
