does anyone know what's going on with my guppy?

Well, kinda hard to help if there is no information or pictures.

Telepathy is not my forte really......

Sorry, could not resist!

If you could start with giving some of the basic information such as tank size, is it cycled, how long has it been running, how many guppies in the tank, how many other tank mates and what species.

Then if you have a test kit, could you put down what the water test readings are so far, pH, ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate.
And also could be helpful to have the gH and kH, but if you do not know this, simply looking up the website of your loacl water authority, should have all the information, look under 'hardness' or something like that under water quaility pages.

And lastly, what symptoms is you guppy / guppies are showing?
Lethargy, breathing fast, red gills, swimming unusally, staying at top of water height or at bottom of tank. The more descriptions you can give, the more helpful it is, perhaps even a picture or two may prove helpful too.
