Right, so on the 9th i moved my two bala's out of quarantine, after a week (i no, i no) of looking fit and healthy. The move procedure was stresfull (fast little ) and the developed white spot i noticed it on the 11th, they hadnt shown any spots on the previous evening.

I started treating immediately and they cleared up, but my 2 bn's were showing signs so ive continued to treat and ive increased the temp, gradually over a few days, and im treating with king british ws3.

They did look like they were returning to normality but the spots have started to increase again, yet every other tank mate is showing no signs at all!

What else can i do!?

Ps. Theres no carbon in my filters

Cant you quarantine the effected again? I would also do lots of large water changes and gravel vacuuming, you seem to be doing everything else fine ;-)

You'll have to treat the whole tank again, there's no point quarantining them as the Ich is in the tank.
Make sure you do the full course, don't stop just because there are no white spots present Ich can only be killed when not on the fish

Yeah i would always treat the full tank seeing as it there but my quarantine is full of fish waitin to move into the main tank which im waitin for the main tank to be clear first! Yup would do every other day for at least a week after spots goin so havent not stopped treating yet!!

How large is large? I did a 60ltr change yesterday and vac'd half the gravel but it is a 5ft 400 ltr tank :/

Also u said u use king British. i was was u i would invest in a slightly more expensive so better medication. As they seem to work alot better

Can I just say that Bala Sharks need to be in groups of at least 5 and require a 6ft tank as an absolute minimum but preferably 8-10ft.
When kept in small groups or small tanks they can become skittish and are prone to injury and/or disease.

I was made aware of the groups after id already bought the 2 and got the 5ft tank so unfortunately im not gonna be upgrading or buying anymore any time soon as its nearly full just waiting for everyone to grow!

A lot of the traditional meds are standard preparations and concentrations.

just a quick update!

i had to stop using WS3 as one of my sharks has had a reaction to the prolonged treatment (not that it was working with the BN's).

i stopped treating and slowly increased temp to 32 degrees as i heard that temp kills off ich, ive been monitoring closely and all seem fine, the shark has even got some of his vigor back and the ich seems to be clearing up - so ill continue to monitor till the weekend then slowly get them back down to 30 and leave it at that for another week.

then hopefully bob's your uncle and. . .well if you dont know who your aunt is, i aint telling ya!
