More than likely internal protizoans. Did you quar the new fish? If not, this is more than likely where it came from. Depending on the species of suckerfish they may be experiencing some stress.
This is fairly common with cichlids, angels & discus in particular. You need to pick up a medication that contains metronidazolle, or metronidazole itself. You mentioned medications being hard to come by, in this case you may need to obtain it from a vet.
You will need a separate medication tank, as you will be turning the tank temperature up to about 90F. The other fish won't survive that. A 10 gallon tank is probably your cheapest alternative.
Medicate at 40mg metro per gallon of water, with a daily 50% water change & remed. Don't feed for the first 3 days, make sure the tank temperature is at least 90F, I've had angels near 100F, so don't be too nervous about this. After 3 days sprinkle a little metro on some frozen brine shrimp, make it look like a tiny powdered donut. If at first they don't eat don't be worried, once they start mouthing & spitting out the food you are on the road to recovery.
Continue with the daily water changes & medication for 10-14 days. Make sure there is plenty of aeration, as warmer water holds less O2.
