hi just bought a 35 litre aqua one tank for my little lad and wanted to know what fish i could put in dont really want guppies or platties tho could you please give me some info thanks

it's only a small tank, so, assuming you have a heater you could try a small shoal of neon tetras or harlequin rasbora's.

thanks for that will look into it after ive done the cycle.Do the fish need plenty of plants or hiding places ?

the species i mentioned would appreciate some plants, hiding places aren't so important as long as they have 'colleagues' to hang out with.
