I have a red female betta in my sorority (5 females in a 10 gal) and I think she has fin rot (fins are turning black around the edges) How do I treat this? I have heard that bettas are med-sensitive...

Thanks.
P.S. I'll post pics later.

if you think its finrot treat the whole tank cos is could be bacterial related
you could try api aquarium salt - if you dont have corys or other salt sensitive fish in the tank if not i found the best medicinal treatment is myaxzin (spelling) perfect for bettas and works well on finrot

No corys, just the gals. How do I dose API aquarium salt? Or is it on the package?

it's on the package hun really easy to use aswell :) - increase the water changes aswell hun

are you certain it's finrot and not nipping from the other girlies?
