My Spotted (Angelicus) Pimelodus has been lying at the bottom of the aquarium against the glass in a verticle position for several days now. This is new behavior, as he has been in the tank for over a month. He does move to eat, but then quickly leans against the glass vertically when done eating.
Is this normal behavior, or is it a sign of trouble? It doesn't seem very normal.

sounds a little unusual to me. Normally catfish are nocturnal and hide during the day. Is the tank well lit or is it quite dark and have lots of hiding places?
It could be a water quality issue, have you checked the ammonia, nitrite, nitrate & PH recently?
How long has the tank been set up for?
When was the filter last cleaned and how did you clean it?
When was the last time you did a water change and gravel clean on the tank?
Have you added any chemicals to the tank in the last weeks or so?
What other fish are in the tank with it and how big is the tank?
