i have a buetuful pink bette and he is in is warmish water in half a bottle of lemonade as i went out got him (coz he was being ATTACKED violently in a cold water tank) come back and the liltte tank i had had smashed dam cat lol he has tetra aqurium fish food he is very active with raged fin and tail an i need 2 take him on a 45 - 60 min journey tomooro what can i do?

Have you got the plastic bag you brought him home in? If not you need really strong freezer bags, use the water he is in now, put in plastic bag, make sure you put plastic bag in another bag so he cant see out and then hang him on the door handle or something similar in the car. He should be Ok for a couple of hours

get a new tupperwere container rinse well put fish with his water in that...poke a few holes in the lid and he should be happy.

if I have to move a few fish I stack the containers in a 5 gallon bucket, put towls in between the jars to keep from rumbling and strap it into the carseat beside me...I cant have things flying around with the however tiny chance of crashing with kids in the car.

ok i was watchin the weather forcast before an it sed its gonna snow how will i keep him warm?

heat pack, or a hot water bottle but not too hot, just warm to keep his water warm

well what are you going to put him in once you get there?

1 gal bowl till i can an upgrade heated (what temp) no filter ill do water changes twice a week i hope he makes the journey lol

78 is a happy temp, if you upgraded to a 2-5 or more gallon tank your fish would be super happy.

and yea just keep on top of your water changes with dechol and you shoud be pretty good.

dechol never had 2 use that as it makes my goldies sick dont no y lol so as its sunday 2 morro an i cant get it waever it is do i just need to boil water an let it cool enuf for the fish?
