I just recently started a tank .with 2 live plants and 4 swordtails 2 pineapple and 2 red velvet
out of nowhere i noticed a cottony looking fuzz on my male red velvet .....i started to medicate with melafix ..he seems to have more activity but the fuzz is now bigger on his sword....then out of no where i see about 25 fry I am not sure who the parents are as it is 2 pairs.
unfortanly i was only able to safely move 7 from the big tank to a smaller transport tank ..i am a afraid that the plants are what has a bateria ..i notice it on them as well all of the other swordtails seem to be fine ..
