Help!

Just yesterday I had a problem with another one.. that one is doing fine.

But another betta that I just got this past Monday is not doing well. I just changed the water earlier.. Normally I put in the water conditioner and let it set for a few days. This time it was only a few hours.. I figured it would be fine. Now he isn't really swimming.. just laying sideways on the bottom not moving.. Sometimes he quickly darts to the top and just floats to the bottom. What should I do??

Would it help if I moved him into some old water???

I hope I can get help before it's to late. Sad

Does his tummy look bloated, try some shelled peas and frozen daphnia, sounds like a bacteria infection, swim bladder.

How many gallons/litres is the tank? Lowering the water level will help as bettas need to breath from the surface every now and then, but...Why do you leave the water conditioner/dechlorinator in the water for a couple of days before adding it to the tank or have i misunderstood you?
