Hi all

hope someone can help, I have noticed recently that I have a growth in my tank, it is white a little like cotton wool like a better description is the white stuff under the peel of an orange all white and looks like veins you know the kind I hope. can someone shed some light on it

Tank:
3ft x 2ft x 1.5ft
filter is a sponge rock formation type with air stones in either half
fish:
Tiger and green barbs
red platies
neons
other various tetras
and a plec

ph and nitrates are normal

please help

Welcome to the forum daved :D

Its probably a peice of rotted fish food or somthing similar in the tank, just remove it and give your substrate a quick clean and water change with dechlorinator and you should be fine :thumbs:
