Help With Stocking

Hello,

I purchased a new 33 gallon tank. Now i need help stocking

At the moment I have
10 neons
2 balloon molly
4 tiger barbs
2 corys
2 cats for algae

I was wondering what else i could fit in, I wanted a yellow lab but i know that wouldnt work out well, any more suggestions?

Also, I have been unable to find out the type of filter i have. Its smaller than a penguin biowheel 330, any advice? the cartriges are a little smaller than that of the 330 if that helps.

I am running to aquaclear mini's on them now, should that be okay to hold it over until then?

What are the 'cats for algae'? Plecs? What kind? Describe them if you aren't sure. Then increase your barbs to 7 and your cories to a minnimum of 4. Then, if your algae eaters aren't large-growing or aggressive, you can think about different fish. If you want a cichlid, keyholes and rams are an option BUT only once you have changed the number of barbs to 7 (so they are less likely to nip) and increased the cories (so they don't get bullied).

The little ones for 10 gallons...they have a black striped down them.

I woudl think more barbs woudl cause them to be nippy wouldnt it?
What could I add you think after more cories?

I want a bigger fish, all the rest are small in that tank

'cats for algae' sound like oto's, could be CAE's but hopefully not. More barbs means they will be more comfortable and will be less nippy, not more. For the bigger fish, you should not look any bigger than keyholes, get a pair and they are fascinating, same goes for rams and kribs. Sylvia will know more but what about one or maybe two medium sized gourami such as three spot or opaline instead?
