tetra what sort do i have help please here is a brief description it looks like the black widow tetras shape it has a silver body the dorsal fin.tail pectoral fin and skirt are red and he has a neon stripe on his back from head to tail i hope you can help please

It sounds like an albino skirt tetra that's been injected with dye. This is painful for the fish (lots die during the process) and I wouldn't buy any more; actually, I'd complain to the shop, especially as you didn't know that it was dyed :(

Skirt tetras are a shoaling fish, so you sohuld keep it with (hopefully!) some normal coloured ones. The dye will fade eventually and it'll go back to being white (if it lives that long).

Just answered in the other thread. Yours is not the dyed version, so no worries :).
