Hi guys,
Noticed today my ruby barb(not sure on sex) has a sort of either a white fungus growth, or someone has nippes her, because there is a white gap in its skin. The tank is 96 litres and has 7 lemon tetras 6 cherry barbs 1 bn and 1 ruby barb. Its a rekord 96 so is filtered with the usual juwel box with a 400 lph pump. The tank is heavily planted and hasn't had any problems for a while.The temp is 25 degrees and i've done a water test today:
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20
pH 7.6
Heres some pictures of the fungus or missing skin:
Any help would be greatly appreciatted. I am going to do a water change this afternoon.
