Hi there :)

I have a 30l biorb, which i have had since Oct, I am pretty comfitable with my tank now and need to make some changes plant wise.. at the moment all I have is a plastic plant which is pretty big and this is placed behind a castle that i have in the middle of the tank.

My red shrimp seems to like this plant as we never see him he hinds under it. What I would like to do is remove this plant and get a real one, as I am limited to space what what you suggest, I definitly want to replace the big one with another big one, and also maybe get another plant in there but something smaller that maybe sits on the bottom.

The fish i have are:

Guppys
Neon Tetras
Platy
Koi sword tail
danio
What kind of plants to these fish prefere?
Thanks :good:

elodea densa (pond weed) will grow tall and is easy to grow. Once it gets to tall cut the top off to the desired height.

anubias specie stay small, and also some cryptocoryne sp.

microsorum pteropus (java fern). Bear in mind that there is numerous plants there that are quite old. I have found microsorum pteropus 'narrow' to grow quicker.
