Help With New Setup

Hi guys, new to this forum just got my tank and I'm in the cycling process just doing research for future fish. I've made a list and I want to make sure I'll be ok using these particular fish together, so far this is what I have:

Recommended Tank Specs (I gathered this with an online tool that tells you roughly what's good/bad for a tank):

Recommended Tank Size: 55 US Gallon
Recommended Temperature Range: 80.6 - 80.6 F.
Recommended pH Range: 6.5 - 6.6.
Recommended Hardness Range: 5 - 5 dH.
Recommended Water Change Schedule: 29% of water per week.
Recommended Tank Capacity Used: 97%


Fish:

1x Firemouth
1x Angelfish (Same sex as Atlum Angel to avoid in-breeding)
1x Siamese Algae Eater
1x Golden Wonder Killfish
1x Blue Gourami
1x Paradise Fish
1x Atlum Angel (Same sex as Angelfish to avoid in-breeding)

My setup as is includes a 55G Tank, MarineLand Bio Wheel filter rated for 75 Gallons, Heater (not sure of make/model), and florescent top lighting. Everything else I'll be getting tomorrow after work hopefully.

The quote above includes some research I've gathered, could anyone tell me if this setup would work and if possible what would be a good selection of plants for these fish?

I think you will find it IMPOSSIBLE to keep the temp at 80.6 at all times.. aim for more like 79... also the Ph is a little low and again, impossible to keep within .1 / .2 unless thats what it comes out of you tap and you dont have any rock or gravel that leech..... I do about a 40% water change on my tanks every week so thats good.....

plants...... eh, maybe try some echinodorus bleheri and aponogetons.. both easy and not too demanding...

Thanks Sly, I'm new so I really don't know much about how hard it is to maintain pH levels and Temps yet had my tank about 3 days now. Could you tell me what I should be aiming for to keep the fish healthy and realistically keep a tank on-going for a long time?

I don't know about other people's experience but with my experience on paradise fish they can be very aggressive and seen them attack fish 3x the size of them so best to stock it in last and try to get it small. I have seen them in an orangey colour and they look pretty nice.
