I need a little help with the required size of glass inlet/outlet I would need for a Rena xP3 filter.

When glassware is advertised is this for the outside or inside pipe diameter and is the glass’s outside diameter always larger than advertised?

Why I ask is would the following items fit of the 21mm od and 16mm id of the Rena filters?

Compared to all the other glassware out there they seem to be very cheep.

Thanks

Is there any benefit to glass inlets over plastic ones?

They are to replace the standard ones that come with Rena Filters.

It’s for aesthetics’ in my case. Rena’s standard spray bar is black. And the inlet is black/blue piping. Glass blends in better.

I don't think these would fit your existing tubing without using a reducer, I think there was a larger diameter set on aquaessentials last time I looked that will fit?

I'd contact them to make sure, they always seem to answer my emails quickly with good advice :good:
