So im getting a 55 gal saltwater tank and thought it would be very cool to replicate the fish from the dentist tank in the movie find nemo.

Would these fish:
Clown fish
Moorish Idol
Porcupinefish (puffer)
Royal Gramma
Starfish
Damselfish
Yellow tang
Pacific cleaner shrimp

be able to fit in the 55 gal and could swim in peace. Also what type of envoirnment would best suit them?

In a 55g

Clownfish YES
Moorish Idol NO - Require arround 100g tank. Very difficult to feed and keep alive.
Porcupinefish YES/NO - Generally require 75g, although you could get away with one in a 55g. Individual have been known to eat samller tank mates (including fish and invverts)
Royal Gramma YES
Starfish - Depends on which one
Damselfish YES - Can become aggressive
Yellow Tang YES/NO same as puffer require similar size tank. Need plenty of swimming space. So tank needs to be at least 4ft long. Can become aggressive
Pacific Cleaner Shrimp YES

As above but just so you know yellow tanga don't do the bubbles thing

I put my 2 cents in your other thread, this just isn't gonna happen.

You could do similar fish though. Replace the yellow tang with the yellowpeel angel.
Replace the damsel with a emperor cardinal
Replace the moorish idol with a Longfin butterfly fish
Puffers are gunna be a prob though. Unless someone else that can think of one!!

All the rest on ur list are fine!

Oh shoot!! I thought u said 75 gallon! That butterfly might need bigger!

for the puffer you could get a ping pong ball and wrap it in astro turf!

Haha!! :)

Would need to be reef safe for the shrimp!

Valentini puffers are sometimes reef safe :good: Atleast mine was

There we go 'blindvizon' - your Nemo tank awaits!! How does that sound?

Dory wasn't in the Nemo tank and Unfort she needs a MASSIVE tank of 6ft and 120gal. She gets MASSIVE!

PS just looked up online - the butterfly should be ok in your tank!
