Hi all, i have a 125l tank with 3 clown loaches 1 pleco (to be rehomed when bigger) danios, tetras, one ruby shark & 3 glass catfish, i'm wandering what i can keep with these. I am thinking either a pair of dwarf gourami's, a pair of female siamese fighters or a pair of angel fish, any advice please?
Also i would like to add maybe mollys or guppys.

Female siamese fighters will... fight, they need to be in a group of minimum 10.

Angelfish, you would have to make sure it is a pair, because else they will fight.

Mollys and Guppies are live bearers, they breed quickly, so unless you get all males then i would not reccomend it.
Also, i think you would have to get either the Mollys or the Guppies, you would not be able to get both, there will be alot of aggression.

Ruby shark, i think your tank might be a tad small for it, it will also get very territorial, so caves are a must.

So after you have rehomed your clown loaches and pleco, i would reccomend getting a few cories, there great! :)

Female bettas don't need to be kept in groups of 10 minimum... A group of 5 will be sufficient to avoid bullying.

It is true Angelfish do need to be kept either singularly or as a breeding pair in that tank. Two unpaired angels would fight.
However what type of tetras do you have? If they are neons then that rules out angels as they will eat neons once they're big enough to do so.

You can get both mollys and guppies without aggression. And in a mixed community consisting of tetras, danios and glass cats there is no real danger of too many fry.
If you were to get any live bearers then stick to at least 1m to 3f to avoid undue stress on the females if you're having a mixed sex group.
One note on livebearers, particularly mollys, is that they don't do well in soft water.

Your tank is too small for the ruby shark...which is more often known as the rainbow shark. It needs more like a 55gal tank to grow and act properly.

I wouldn't recommend getting a pair of dwarf gouramis...they tend to be EXTREMELY territorial. A better plan would be either 1 x Dwarf Gourami, 1 x Pearl Gourami or 2 x Honey Gourami

Also a little note, you should really up the number of glass cats to 6 as they are fish that really benefit from being in a shoal.

Oh and just to clarify could you please post your tanks inhabitants with the number of fish you have, aswell as the actual species.
And you ARE re-homing both the clowns and the plec? Not just the plec?

Eugh...just noticed the date on the original post...I seriously wish certain people wouldn't go around giving BAD advice to OLD posts...
