I currently have one spotted cory, one male beta, and one chinese algae eater. Today I noticed a bunch of clear/opac balls in my tank(on the walls, rocks, and plants) I am guessing these belong to my cory, but here is my question... How can this be laying eggs if I have no other cory's in the tank? Will these eggs hatch? HELP!!!!

You need more cories. Like5 more. And the egg may be your cory, and it wont hatch.

Thanks you! I have never had a fish lay eggs before. I've had this Cory for over a year and this is the first time its happened. I didnt know if fish could cross breed. I'm such a beginner!

Could be snail eggs if you have snails in your tank
