ok last week i noticed the clown fish (both do it at different time) swim near my dart fish every time he/she comes out of their hole. the dart fish swims quickly back in the hole or starts to swim up
its only been happening for about a week? for some reason my clown fish are swimming around the tank more? like they have lost their host?

are they looking for a place to breed do you think

i dont know they havnt been breeding in my tank before.

What kind of clowns do you have? And how about the other fish, are they being more aggressive towards them as well, or just the dart fish?

i have the common ones.
i only have 2 clowns and a dart fish so atm they are only being aggressive to the dart fish.

What size is your tank mate (Dimensions). Dartfish in general can be a bit skittish and often stay within/around the rockwork. Are the clowns showing any other unusual behaviour (cleaning rockwork/"wiggling" at each other, etc)?

my tank is a juwel rio 125 with sump so its about 140L its 81cm long by 35cm wide and 50cm high. no the clowns havnt been doing that but they may have been wiggling at each other (a bit)

Do you think they're trying to be aggressive towards him? Clowns are very curious. Maybe they're just trying to get a closer look at him and he's afraid of them? They're probably mean no harm.
