Help With Bogwood

How do you guys who have wood in your tank keep the wood from floating? I managed to keep one under, but last night my fish did a little 'redecorating' and now the wood is floating in the current of my tank!!!

Any ideas?

put it in a pan of boiling water or screw it to a piece of slate and dig the slate in the substrate
