My poor betta has had fin rot for a while now and I have been trying to treat it first with Methyling Blue then King British Fin Rot and Fungus Control. Sadly I have come to the conclusion that this has achieved absolutely nothing! I have also done a couple of water changes, adding salt, but dont want to stress him too much. The fin rot has now developed to white wooly like patches along his body (Which the fin rot and fungus control also claims to treat). He is still eating but you can tell he's uncomfortable/itchy.
Can anyone shed any light on why its not healing? Or give me an alternative treatment to try?
