Help Req? Advice

hi to all,
this is my first post,
just a bit of advice needed?
i have just purchased a 3ft tank and cabinet with this was a fluval 303,i have no instructions with it so i am a bit miffed on how to set it up?how do you use the suction thing?what sort of media do you need? etc?also what type/size of heater will i need to warm that size tank? 1 or more?one more thing is it has a plastic under gravel filter tray but it is in two halves so how does the filter work with the two if only connected to one of them.?

dont worry about using the undergravel filter<in my mind there a waist of time>

ok done click on this and read through

make sure when its set up the gaskets on prop fill container with water place top on clip it all up then u have in and out pipes block 1 and blow hard down the other if nothing comes out but you get pain in cheaks all should be ok.....conect to tank pipes and oven valvues then turn on if nothing comes out trying putting cont at 45 degree angle until it spurts out then very slowely lower until u can leave it be

in my fluval i have those hexagonal shape things in bottom/cirlcle sponge in middle/filter wool like candy floss in top

how big is the tank? 3ft by ? ?
what fish you planning to get

is this the right order for filtration?
i have some cabon in a box is this ok to be put in the bottom loose?or does it need to be in a bag?
also does any one know where i can get spares for this filter 303 anywhere?

is it better not to use the filter with an underwater gravel filter/any differance?
