I bought this guppy and another while they were both pregnant. About a week ago I found 9 babies but I thought the biggest guppy (as you can see in the photos below) would give birth first. She still looks pregnant though and the other smaller female didn’t look that pregnant. Anyway I thought that the large guppy who I named Chonky would give birth within a few weeks and I have had her for two weeks. I don’t know who gave birth because I didn’t see any signs of labor in either of the females so I don’t exactly know which one gave birth. I also have noticed with the large one that when I turn the light on in the morning her gravid spot looks reddish orangish but will start to darken up and it was quite large whenever it darkened up. If anyone can tell me an idea of when she will give birth or what is happening with her gravid spot I will be very grateful because ever since I got her I have been a helicopter mom partly because I am fairly new to breeding guppies. (ignore the little spots she was moving too much so I had to feed her there are a few that might be a little blurry sorry)

First of all, the size of a pregnant belly doesn't always give a good determination of how far she is. Pregnat female guppies can even become much bigger than yours. And not all pregnant females will square off when they're almost due. Squaring off only means that she's used her max gestation period.
The fry you've found could be from teh one which is more slender now or from the bigger female. Sometimes when in the egg of a number of embryos is more nutrients than in all the other eggs, such embryos will be born sooner than the rest. This means that the pregnant female remains big before she'll drop all the other fry. And when a female gets too stressed, she can drop a number of fry (or even eggs) sooner as well.
Overhere some pics of pregnant females with a huge belly:

Ok thank you for replying but I have another question why is her gravid spot turning reddish orangish and then after a while turning black again

I bought a female guppy about two weeks ago along with another female at my LFS the guy told me they were both pregnant but the grey one ( the one this is about ) didn’t look that pregnant but the other female looked like she would pop soon anyway I was a helicopter mom constantly looking in the tank for any signs of labor and to my surprise I was cleaning the tank and found nine fry I automatically assumed that the big one gave birth but I realized she was still pretty chonky and since I didn’t see anyone in labor I don’t k ow who gave birth I have read that guppy’s can hold their fry for longer if they are stressed so I thought that the big one was holding her fry after a few days I started thinking about the possibility that the small one gave birth but I am fairly new to guppy breeding and in my opinion she still looks pregnant but not that far along. If someone can tell me if she is pregnant that would be great. I have also realized she has been separating herself a lot and she is usually the boss her belly does look a little bulgy and her gravid spot is till big(she is the little black one)

Were there males present in the tank you purchased them from? If so, they are both probably 'hit' and will drop young every 3-4 weeks or so. The black-tailed one is certainly gravid. Not sure what you are fretting about. What is it you are concerned might happen that is worrying you?

I am concerned that she will eat the babies because when the other babies popped up she tried to eat them and I’m trying to save as many as possible
There was a male present in the tank they were in

That's a mood thing... Nothing to be worried about...

What do you mean can you elaborate?
The color change of the gravid spot happens when she's got a certain mood. That's normal and happens in other ovoviviparous livebearers as well.

Update we have babies Chonky gave birth on the 21 of February to 11 beautiful fry🎉🥳
I have questions about one of them but I will make a different thread on that
