Help! Poor Dwarf Gourami! What Does It Have?

Hey guys, I have a big problem with one of my gouramies. I have 2 dwarf gouramies, one blue neon, the other (and sick one) is a flame gourami. I have a 55G tank and its been set up for a few months.

the water parameters are good. ammonia 0, nitrite 0 and nitrate between 20 and 30.

I started noticing several days ago that the gourami had a small lump on its side, now it looks like the one the goldfish on the link below has. Its not fuzzy, and the outline of the white lump is very red.

Any ideas on how to treat it? I have been adding melafix and pimafix but no progress. I would really appreciate any help!

Stop adding Pimafix and Melafix! The tea tree oil damages the gouramis' labyrinth organ and eventually they will be unable to breathe air and they drown.

Likely dwarf gourami disease, which is unfortunately fatal. We don't know what causes it, but it's never good. I lost a total of 7 to it. I keep hoping to find a local breeder so I can try again, but I won't just buy them from the LFS anymore. They're such great fish.

Thank you. I stopped adding pimafix and melafix. So should I keep him isolated until he dies? that sounds kinda cruel I don't know what else to do for him!
