Help please

I need some advice. I'm a newbie I think I was overfeeding my fish which caused major ammonia issues. It also made my tank water foggy. Sorted all that out but the water is still foggy and not clearing also the ph has gone down. Been doing water changes every 2 days. Cleaning inside glass and the substrate but nothing I do seems to make it better can you please help.. thanks

How long has the tank been up and running? Did you cycle the tank?

Also, what size is it and how many/what kind of fish do you have?

In newer tanks it is not uncommon to have a bacterial bloom that causes cloudy water. Usually it will go away on it's own or through water changes.

If you have too many fish creating too much waste for the size of the tank then that may also contribute to the problem.

The tank was cycled for 7 weeks fishless. Have 1 Betta and 6 fork tailed rainbow fish. The tank is 54L 60x30x30

You said you cycled the tank fishless, so what did you use as an ammonia source? If the tank was just left to run w/o adding anything then it wouldn't be considered cycled.

What are the nitrites, nitrates and ammonia at now?

I used dr Tim's ammonia. Fluval cycle and aqua pure balls were used for cycling ph is 7.75 ammonia 0.25 nitrite 0 nitrate 20
