ive had a bit of a nightmare this week as ive been treating my tank for white spot and all was going well until last night when i had to do the 30% water change to finish the treatment.
anyway after taking 30% of the water out i realised i did not have enough safe start to fill the tank again so called on a friend who only had some api ammo lock. i used the safe start i had and calculated the amount of ammo lock i had to put in to make up for the lack of safe start added and all seems to be well hopefully!!!
while doing the water I realised that my red tailed shark is far from well he is bloated on his underside (scales protruding) and not swimming correctly (rolling sideways ect.) also he is constantly on the bottom of the tank. I done a little bit or research and found that it could be swim bladder and i have the treatment for this so went ahead and treated for this - is this correct??
also all other fish are OK and water stats are fine ill check them again when I get home (im at work).
thanks in advance
p.s ill post a pic of him later too
