Help, Please..

Cabaret, the betta I rescued yesterday apparently may be worse than I thought.. His fins are ripped to shreds and I think he may have a bacterial infection. I'm currently treating him with Melafix, and if I need something else I don't have then I can't get it at the moment. So, on his stomach, right under his mouth, he has this huge white spot. It looks like coloring, but I'm not 100% sure it is. He's not eating, and he sits at the bottom of his bowl, but occasionally swims around. Melafix has helped my other bettas with their fin rot and other diseases so maybe this will help him, too?! I dunno, I just need some advice .

as far as i know, melafix works for a whole slew of different things, save parasite infestations and a couple other diseases... anyhow, hopefully it will help your poor little betta out. i hope cabaret feels better soon! (lovely name, by the way!)

Okay, good. He seems to be alot better today. I left him under a lamp last night since I didn't have a heater.

He turned ORANGE? o___O I changed his water today... and I just checked on him, and he's changed his body color from red to orange.. ?
