any one know how old my baby corys need to be befor they can go to there new homes at all there a little over 2 weeks now as i have a mate whi is after some iv told her its will be a few weeks still but she is now bugging me any one help with this please

normally as soon as a baby fish is eating standard run of the mill food (flake, frozen) it is old enough to go, however the smaller they are the more fragile they are and also more likely to get eaten by whats in their new home.

They may not survive the change in water conditions if they are too small so I wouldn't hurry at all giving them away for now. What's the smallest you've seen in a fish shop, certainly not 2 weeks, probably not even 6 weeks old but a good few months to half a year.

thak you Harlequins :D im setting up there bigger tank this weekend were they will then stay. so they will have a nice 2 foot tank to play in :D
